The Long Term Custodian Care Center is a high use center receiving long term patients, it is a 6000m2 facility comprising of 80 beds as temporary long term facility offering single quarter, as well as double rooms. Gently articulated and layered building forms fit the building sensitively on the site located across the street from the new Mafraq Hospital. The design is completely integrated with the building architectural and exterior landscape to interior finishes and MEP systems. A focus on sustainability and Green design is evident in the building material and finish selections, building MEP systems and an interior screening that shields the sun while allowing natural light to penetrate all occupied spaces.
